His interest in the application of appropriate technology through the utilisation of natural resources, has led him to work in the climate change development sector as an engineer.

Harvesting natural resources, such as water, using affordable and appropriate technology, for the benefit of the Pacific people, is an utmost consideration in project design for Clinton.

A Niuean by birth he has worked in the water resource management field for over 20 years in the region and who better than Clinton to understand the daily challenges Pacific people face with the detrimental impacts of climate change on their lives.

The father of four prioritises the time spent outdoors with his family as very important. An avid spearfisherman, rugby nut and wood carver he wishes he had more time to write as well – perhaps about his love for the Pacific.

Clinton studied at the University of Canterbury and Lincoln in NZ and is a registered Project Manager in Australia.
